The Sims™ 2: Super Collection App Reviews

Does anybody know why after I install it the game doesn’t want to open? I’ve deleted it and installed it again a couple times and restarted my Mac but when I click on the icon it bounces up and down a few times and then closes out. Please help!

Body Shop and CC installer are now broken in this version. No way to check on Custom Content’s viability in Mac. Games corrupt on a regular basis, with no way to tell what caused the corruption. Crashes on a regular basis.

Love this game!!! in the middle of downloading it now. I wonder if any of the developer cheats will work with this version.

It comes with a lot for the price! it is very fun and addicting to play. You can never get bored bewteen playing the various neighborhoods, travel destinations, college towns, running businesses and having pets. so much too this game and worth the price!

This game is awesome runs perfectly on OSX and the graphics are enhanced. I remeber when I bought this game on CD for Windows XP and it took an eternity to load. Great nostalgia value! It would be great if they would add Freetime and Apartment Life expansion packs in a new update even as additional purchases. Hopfully Aspyr can get licensing or is working on making the original sims for OSX too I’m a huge sims fan! All in all great game price is totally reasonable since back in the day it was like $20/30 for each expansion. A must buy for any sims fan or newcomers to the sims.

Truly, today is one of those “Mark this day in my gaming history” moments for me, as this is the very first time ever I have actually been able to play Sims 2 without the computer freezing, crashing, or parts of the game taking forever to load - even the install process was quick and easy. Not once did my macbook become overheated or hot to touch. It did not drain my battery either -played for about 3 hours straight and I still had a good 45% battery life left. Overall, a fantastic value with the bonus expansion packs, and a lot of fun to play the classic game again.

I loved it, amazing everything. Fast and amazing. Until all the worlds except one got messed up, and I lost my family. :(

when i got the game i thought it would take an hour or less but i was way wrong, the game is still downloading after 12 hours. i am super excited to play the game in all but i don’t want to wait another three hours.

I didn’t like this game at all. I’m currently trying to figure out how to get a refund. There wasn’t anything wrong with it, it ran great and was stable, I just didn’t like it and have no intentions to continue playing it.

I love this game so much and can play it for hours at a time, but every once in a while when I try to launch it, the icon appears just for a moment on the dock and then it disappears and the game isn’t running. It crashes almost instantly.

This application was great for a couple months and worked perfectly, and starting today, it won’t even open. I click to open the application, and it flashes on apliations i have open then goes away. Wasn’t worth paying to use for a couple months

When this game works, it’s great. However, more often than not, it won’t even open on my computer. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times, and I just keep having the same issues. I try to open the program, the icon bounces around my App bar for a couple seconds, then closes. Complete waste of $30.

This game is amazing and im in love but….adding apartment life would make the game ten times better

I purchased this game and had to pause it while I was downloading it…. since then it WILL NOT restart, it has said waititng for days. I have zero idea of how to fix it either. I am very annoyed that I spent $30 on something that will never download. Great waste of money.

I LOVED this game… until it randomly stopped working. Now I am unable to redownlad it onto my MacBook Air.

Just re download it and its not working!!! WONT OPEN!!! yet it worked fine 2 months ago! FIX IT OR IM GOING BACK TO PC and WILL GIVE YOU APPLE BAD REIVEWS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! FIX THIS TODAY!!!!!!!

Downloaded, played it once, now it won’t open. I just paid $30 to play Sims 2 for 15 minutes.

The sims 2 is my absolute favorite in the franchise, but unfotunately few games cater to mac users. I love that I am able to run a crisp, fast-running version of the game for the first time ever. HOWEVER, freetime and apartment life, in my opinion, are absolutely crucial to the sims 2 experience. I’ve been reading around and many other players desperately want the expansions to be mac compatible. It really would be a sound business practice and good use of time to give loyal fans of the sims franchise what they want. I’d even pay extra for the addition of these expansions as well as the missing stuff packs (since my top 3 havent been added….) PLEASE, ASPYR,I BEG OF YOU finish the game you started! Mac users deserve love too!
