The Sims™ 2: Super Collection App Reviews

Worked great until recently. Now it just says “Verifying Sims 2 Super Collection” and then nothing happens. I will change my review if this is fixed.

This is a terrific game and I love it but it needs apartment life, teen stuff, and free time. And i wish it had more already made cities and more house choices.

It’s fun to play with. I have a lot of sims because it is fun to see what will happen too the family. You can adopt pets and get the one you like. Their are seasons you could make it winter every day or the season that you wanted to be.

The game is great but…. updates on body show and package installer need to be fixed also boolprop testing cheats and ctrl shift click on sims should be added!!! Thanks!

The sims 2 was the best Sims game of all, I even think sims 1 is better than 3 or 4. I know that Aspyr originally did not develop the other expansions for mac although, if it would be possible, please bring them. You would make so much money because, we sims fan, will love to have the game fully complete for mac. Also bring the sims 1 with all its expansion packs :D

i think this game isnt as good as the one for xbox 360. i was really disappointed in this game to be honest...

I just want to start off by saying Im new to the apple community and it blew my mind that you could buy this one download for this price and have all of these expansion packs in one. It runs amazing and my old HP computer would never be able to download all of those and work as great as this. I love SIMS games! :)

Back in March I came upon an experience where my charachters were on vacation as one of them got stuck in a certain area. I followed Aspyr Support’s directions to a “T” and they failed to inform me that this would terminate what I had already built & restore the game altogether. Would also advise any players to enter the cheat code for Sims aging to death. (Ctrl) or Command + Shift + C enter “aging” to turn on/off. Everything I built on another Sims game, the Sim died and unfortunately I could not restore the incident. Easy to say now, game was a waste of time. Now I can find something more productive to do with my life.

The game itself (3D) looks good but the UI is obvioulsy not updated for retina. Even the start window isn’t.

I am so excited to get into this game. I was blown away by the graphics as soon as I launched it. It’s as stunning as the Sims 4! I’ve grown up playing console and handheld versions of the Sims, but I have just recently started playing the Mac versions. I started with downloading the Sims 3 and various expansion packs through Origin, and the game lags and I have to keep the graphics on the lowest setting just to run it. This game runs beautifully, and the cost is unbeatable. I totally recommend it! Thank you Aspyr Media! It would be awesome if you guys developed the original the Sims like this so old and new simmers alike can get a feel for where it all began! :D

okay, so I have yet to view the actual game, but ill tell you why. I downloaded it, and it immediately said “paused” and wont continue to load. It is extremely aggravating, because I spent $30 on the game! I am very disappointed in this!

this is amazing $30 im 12 and i was able to buy this with my money crazy i love sims for a wile i had to play the xbox and that one sucked so much but when i got my hp computer i got sims 4 and it gave it a bug but now with the mac i could play this with no bugs i love it!!!!

I am a die hard sims 2 fan and have been since the games release. I was so happy to see that this was finally released on Mac since I’ve been using my ancient laptop to be able to play the game, however I am still awaiting the release of the last of the expansion packs. I have neighborhoods that I have put countless hours into and am not able to transfer them to this game because of the lack of the last couple expansion packs. Would have given 5 stars if the last of these were released into the game. Patiently waiting!

I love sims. I used to play it on my old dell laptop. I got a new macbook and downloaded this app. it is dirt cheap for how much stuff it comes with. but, it is so much that it has made my mac run too much and become very hot and loud. also, it is a big app. you need enough storage.

This game is totally worth the money! This is the best sims gameI have ever played.

Ive always been an avid sims fan, & with the sims 2 being such a great game the sims 2 super collection is PERFECT not only does the game look fantastic it runs great too! Depending if youre able to cough up the extra cash i think every simmer should add this to their collecttion!

The game has been “downloading” for over 6 hours. It got stuck after that and now is staying on 4.15 gb. I want my money back.

The game itself Is good but theres just a few issues I wish there was more options in create a sim like for example “Create Puppy / Kitten” If you have a male and female Dog/Cat and also more pet relation ships like “mates”etc Not to mention I HATE the cut senes my little cousin likes to play these games with me Whoo Hoo’s had never Weirded me or him out in any other sims game but the cut senes weirded BOTH of us out also I wish you could control pets again my cousin likes to play these with me and we thought it was a glitch that we couldn’t control our puppy but it was not and quite frankly its stupid

I bought the game and it said it would take eight days to downloand, and now it somehow paused and now has been ‘waiting’ to download for an hour. Spent $30 and just want to play the game today!
