The Sims™ 2: Super Collection App Reviews

I wasn’t sure where to ask. I purchased it and It is not downloading its downloads a little bit then goes back to 0. What can I do? I have a mac air.

This game runs perfectly fine on my MacBook Air 11 inch. I was skeptical about buying it but the only problem I have had is that it does make my computer really hot because its a bigger program but other then that the graphics and everything else is perfect.

Personally I think this is a grear pack although they should update it to have apartement life, Ikea, and H&M to widen the content beacuse those are great packs and I miss using them.

I’m a huge fan of the sims and I really liked the sims 2. This game have been updtated for mac. No bugs, and the waiting time are shorter than on window (about the same time than in the sims 4). As everyone I would like to have the latest expension :(, But beside it works really fine and i would recommand it! :):) Je suis une fan des sims et j’ai adorer le sims 2. Les temps d’attentes sont court et on été optimiser pour mac. Il manque deux jeux, mais autrement je le recommande a 100%! :)

I absolutely love the sims. I’ve been playing for years and I’m absolutely addicted. This app is upsetting me though … I keep opening it and playing for a bit, and then it will shut down and I lose everything. I’ve had to keep saving like every 5 minutes to ensure I don’t lose anything. It’s very annoying. Otherwise, it’s a fun game but I definitely wish more expansion packs where included. H&M and mansion and garden stuff are my favs.

I got an alert telling me to delete and redownload the sims two because it exppired or something, figured it made sense so I deleted it and redownloaded. It stopped downloading multiple times and restarted, finally after waiting all day the app was downloaded. Click on it to open it and I get a popup telling me this app is damaged, delete and redownload. I got it off the bloody app store why should it be ‘damaged’ espescially after such a long wait. Not very thrilled right now EA.

Love the Sims, love the Sims 2, love that I can have it on my macbook! Only thing, I really seriously wish you would PLEASE bring back APARTMENT LIFE! The way the apartments worked with noise and neighbours and all the cool furniture… that’s what I think of when I get nostalgic about the old sims games. Please please please give us Apartment Life!!!

Great game but i want to change the language of the game but there is no settings button so can you help me about how i can change it?

Must have per tutti gli amanti della serie. Due stelline in più se aggiungeranno gli stuff packs e le espansioni mancanti, renderebbe davvero PERFETTA questa release. Vi prego fatelo! Apartment life è la più bella espansione di sempre! - - - - - - Must have for all of those who loved the series! I’ll put two more stars if they’ll add missing stuff packs and expansions, THIS would REALLY make this release PERFECT. Please do it! Apartment life is the best expansion EVER.

I have plaid various versions of Sim City, SimTower and now The Sims (on and off) since the mid nineties (“DOS/Windows 3"days). I’ve plaid various knockoffs as well. However, nothing eles is Sim. My only dismay with this game is how it runs in full screen. When it does, I cannot swipe back to the desktop as I can with other applications. In other words, its “full screen” occupies the (entire) desktop. That is, somewhat, annoying. The heart of the game is very much the same as was in SimTower in 1995. The change of day/night (time realization) season changes, etc. And, yes, this is a game you have to “Tend”. But that’s the real fun of it.

The best sims collection in the Mac OS! I’ve been playing for months and this is the best choice. If you would like, CHEATS work too! But most of all it is a great game with no lag and great GRAPHICS!

DO NOT BOTHER BUYING. I bought the game today and it keeps on failing to download. Don’t bother paying for this. Super sad.

Ok, so technically I haven’t even played the game yet….and I’m most likely gonna love it and want to change this review later. But the sole reason for this 3 star is the download! My computer started off by claiming it was going to take 11 hours to download the game. 11 hours! It’s going slightly faster I think then that, but that’s just mind boggling to me. $30 for a game that takes approx 11 hours to download? Super lame. Also, Want to let everyone know that my download speeds are typically AMAZING.

Until today I have not had one problem with this game since I downloaded it way back when it first came out….but now for some reason, it won’t launch no matter what I do. When I click on the icon, sometimes it bounces for a few seconds in the dock, sometimes it does nothing at all. Either way it never launches :( I restarted my computer also but that didnt help at all. Please fix!!!! Maybe it needs an update - it hasn’t had one in over a year…..what can I do to fix this problem and once again use this app that I paid $40 for??

I love this game and everything works perfectly. I go stretches of playing frequently and then stretches of not playing for a while. I decided I was bored and wanted to play so I clicked on the application icon and it pops up in the Dock but then goes away and doesn’t load. Can you please fix whatever is causing this? I first thought it was just my computer, but if someone else (person commented before me) then it is probably the game itself.

My app wouldn’t open so I did as the screen said… i reinstalled :( now all my progress is gone?! How do i get it back?! Months of progress gone! If I paid $40 I shouldn’t have lost my progress… so upsetting! PLEASE HELP!

Since the recent Capitan Update, the game will not load. It says, “Verifying “The Sims 2: Super Collection” and then nothing happens. Game was purchased on the current Mac being used to play it. This is a serious bug! The people at ASPYR are saying it might take weeks to fix. They had months to work on it already. Meanwhile, there is nothing we can do.

Like the reviews written before mine, when I tried to open my game it wouldn’t open at first, but then a few minutes later a notification came up saying that I had to login to iCloud to run the game. So I logged in and then as I’m writing this review, I just got another notification saying that I need to reinstall the game becuase it won’t work properly. Please fix this.

Like the users before me mentioned. The app is not working anymore!! Please fix asap, really miss playing!!
