I do love this game, even after twenty plus years.

I have plaid various versions of Sim City, SimTower and now The Sims (on and off) since the mid nineties (“DOS/Windows 3"days). I’ve plaid various knockoffs as well. However, nothing eles is Sim.

My only dismay with this game is how it runs in full screen. When it does, I cannot swipe back to the desktop as I can with other applications. In other words, its “full screen” occupies the (entire) desktop. That is, somewhat, annoying.

The heart of the game is very much the same as was in SimTower in 1995. The change of day/night (time realization) season changes, etc. And, yes, this is a game you have to “Tend”. But that’s the real fun of it.
